Joan Wiss, MD

Dr. Joan M. Wiss, MD has practiced dermatology in the Myrtle Beach area for nearly 30 years. She first moved to Myrtle Beach in 1996 following a dermatology residency at Ohio State University. Prior to this, Dr. Wiss was awarded a research grant by the prestigious Dermatology Foundation to conduct cancer research at The National Institute of Health's Cellular Carcinogenesis Laboratory in Bethesda, Maryland. She is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School with an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Joan enjoys training her two Border Collies in Dog Agility and walks with her retired Deutch Kurzhaar. She also enjoys gardening, traveling, and alligator hunting.

Jessica Spring, FNP

Jessica Spring is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing comprehensive and compassionate care. She earned her degree from the American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University. Before advancing her career, Jessica spent nearly a decade as a Registered Nurse. She began her nursing journey in Charleston, SC, in medical-surgical care before specializing in Mohs micrographic dermatologic surgery, working alongside one of the top Mohs surgeons on the East coast. Additionally, Jessica spent two years in outpatient plastic surgery in Murrells Inlet, gaining valuable experience in surgical care.

Jessica is known for her extensive clinical experience, patient-centered care, and warm, approachable nature. She is committed to making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of her patients in the community she loves.
